Astro Consultancy

Service page →
How accurate is the Kundli if I don't know my exact birth time?

Even an approximate time (morning, noon, evening) gives us a workable chart, but the exact time is important for accurate dasha and house placements. If you are unsure, our astrologer can perform 'birth-time rectification' during the session based on major life events — this is charged separately.

Do you promise remedies that guarantee marriage / job / wealth?

No, and you should not trust anyone who does. Jyotish is guidance based on planetary positions and karma — it improves clarity and decision-making. We recommend mantras, dana, fasting and lifestyle changes; the effort and outcome remain with you.

Will the astrologer recommend expensive gemstones?

Only if your kundli genuinely requires one, and never as the first remedy. We never sell gemstones ourselves and take zero commission from any vendor. If a stone is suggested, you buy it from any certified jeweller you trust.

Can the consultation be in Hindi, English or Awadhi?

Yes — most sessions are in Hindi, but English and Awadhi are equally available. Please mention your language preference when you book.

Is video mandatory, or can it be an audio call?

Whatever you're comfortable with. Audio-only WhatsApp calls, video on Zoom/Meet, or in person where available — all three are supported.

Is the session confidential?

Fully confidential. Your birth details, chart and questions are never shared or reused. If you request a recording, it is emailed to you and deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Can I book a session for someone else — my child or parent?

Yes. Please share their birth details and be present on the call, or send the summary to them. Consent from an adult family member is required.

Do you handle Kaal Sarp, Mangal or Sade Sati doshas honestly?

Yes. Many astrologers exaggerate these to sell expensive remedies. We diagnose them accurately, tell you the actual severity, and suggest simple mantra / dana remedies from the shastra before recommending anything larger.

Pandit Ji on Demand

Service page →
Are the pandits verified and Vedic-trained?

Yes. Every pandit on the Mangal Hands network is background-verified and formally trained at a recognised gurukul or Sanskrit vidyalaya (Kashi, Ayodhya, Varanasi lineage). We check their credentials, sample recitations and past client feedback before empanelling.

Is puja samagri included when I book?

It depends on the package you choose. Mangal Sankalp is the priest only, and you arrange the samagri. Mangal Siddhi and Mangal Sampoornam include the complete samagri kit and havan kund setup. Pick the package on this page when you book.

How do you decide the muhurat (auspicious time)?

Our astrologer consults the panchang (tithi, nakshatra, yog, karan). A muhurat consultation is included free with Mangal Sampoornam. With the other packages you can add it as a separate consultation, with its fee shown on the Vedic services page.

How is dakshina decided? Is pricing transparent?

Prices are fixed per ceremony and per package, and are listed on this page before you book. What is included depends on the package: priest only, priest with samagri kit, or the all-inclusive package with muhurat consultation and eco-friendly immersion.

Do you serve areas in other cities?

We serve your city and its nearby districts. Pind Daan and tirtha rituals can be arranged at Kashi, Gaya, Prayagraj and Haridwar through our partner network.

Can the puja be performed in Hindi or English?

The Vedic mantras are always chanted in original Sanskrit. Our pandits explain the vidhi, sankalp and meaning in Hindi by default; English or regional-language explanation is available on request.

Can I book a woman pandit / mahila purohit?

Yes. We have empanelled trained mahila purohits for weddings, Satyanarayan katha, sanskars and Griha Pravesh. Please mention this preference at the time of booking.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

You can reschedule up to 24 hours before the puja at no cost. Cancellations 24+ hours in advance receive a full refund minus samagri procurement charges (if already purchased for a specific tithi).

Can you organise a large yagya or katha at home?

Yes. Larger recitations such as the 24-Hour Akhand Ramayan Path, the Rhythmic Sunderkand Path with a musical troupe and the Durga Saptashati Samput Path are listed with prices on this page. Share your date and venue on WhatsApp and book early for the larger ones.

Sustainable Event Management

Service page →
How much does event planning cost?

Fully-managed events with Mangal Hands typically start around ₹45,000 for an intimate Griha Pravesh or 100-guest gathering, ₹1.2–3.5 lakh for mid-size weddings and corporate functions (100–300 guests), and ₹5 lakh and above for large weddings, cultural functions or destination events. We share a fixed, itemised quote after a free site visit — no hidden charges.

What is a zero-waste or sustainable event, in practice?

A sustainable event replaces single-use plastic with compostable or reusable alternatives — leaf plates, kulhad glasses, cloth napkins, jute and marigold decor instead of thermocol and foil. Leftover food is donated to partner NGOs, floral waste is composted, and digital invites replace paper cards. We audit every event and share a post-event waste report so you can see exactly what was diverted.

Do you handle both venue booking and decor, or only one?

Both. Mangal Hands acts as your single point of contact — venue scouting across banquets, farmhouses and lawns in your city; decor design and setup; catering coordination; photography; entertainment; guest hospitality and post-event cleanup. You approve; we execute.

How far in advance should I book for a wedding?

For lagan-season weddings (Nov–Feb, Apr–Jun), we recommend booking at least 8–12 weeks in advance so we can lock in preferred dates, venues and vendors. For smaller functions, 3–4 weeks is usually enough. We do accept short-notice bookings subject to availability — WhatsApp us to check.

Can you work within a fixed budget?

Yes. We build every proposal around your budget cap. If a wish-list item pushes past it, we transparently show trade-offs — for example, swapping imported flowers for local marigold, or moving from a five-star venue to a well-reviewed farmhouse. You always see what you are spending, and why.

Do you offer eco-friendly wedding decor without compromising on look?

Absolutely. Our decor moodboards use fresh flowers, banana leaves, jute, terracotta, brass and handloom fabric — traditional Indian aesthetics that photograph beautifully and align with sustainability. Guests notice the elegance, not the absence of plastic.

Which cities and venues do you serve?

We plan events at banquet halls, farmhouses, lawns, hotels, community centres and homes. Share your city and date on WhatsApp and we will confirm vendor availability for your location, including destination events.

Do you provide catering, or only coordination?

We coordinate with a curated network of vetted caterers — pure-veg, satvik, Awadhi, Mughlai, Continental and Jain — and manage menu tasting, quantity planning, live counters and service staff. Catering is billed at the caterer's rate; we do not mark it up.

How do you handle leftover food?

Every event we run has a food-donation SOP. Surplus cooked food is packed hygienically within 90 minutes of the meal end and delivered to partner NGOs and shelters. You receive a donation receipt with meal counts as part of the post-event report.

Is there a cancellation or refund policy?

Full refund (minus a small advisory fee) for cancellations 30+ days before the event. 50% refund for 15–30 day cancellations. Beyond 15 days, refunds depend on vendor advances already committed — we share the exact breakdown transparently.

Spiritual Tourism

Service page →
Are the hotels included in the package personally inspected?

Yes. Every hotel and dharamshala in our yatra packages is inspected in person by our team before we contract it. Room photographs from real stays (not marketing shots) are shared with you before booking.

Can elderly parents or grandparents join?

Absolutely — most of our travellers are 55+. Every itinerary can be adjusted for pacing, and wheelchair or portering support is arranged wherever the terrain allows. For Char Dham, a helicopter option is available.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund minus payment-gateway charges if you cancel 21+ days before departure. 50% refund 10–20 days prior, no refund inside 10 days. Genuine medical emergencies are handled case-by-case with documentation.

Do you arrange Pind Daan at Gaya, Kashi and Badrinath?

Yes. We work with verified tirtha purohits at all three kshetras. The package includes samagri, priest dakshina, brahmin bhojan and the full vidhi. Please share the number of ancestors and any specific sankalp.

Are meals included? What about Jain / no-onion-garlic food?

All packages include sattvik vegetarian meals. Jain, no-onion-garlic and diabetic-friendly options are pre-arranged on request — please tell us at the time of booking.

How is Char Dham different by helicopter vs by road?

By road: 10–11 days, more affordable, physically demanding (Kedarnath trek is 16 km one way). By helicopter: 5–6 days, higher cost, minimal walking — ideal for elders. We offer both, with a hybrid option (helicopter for Kedar only).

Is travel insurance included?

Basic on-trip medical assistance is included. Comprehensive travel insurance (cancellation, hospitalisation) is optional and offered at cost — we strongly recommend it for Char Dham.

Can you organise a private / family-only yatra?

Yes. Any kshetra combination can be arranged as a private tour with your own vehicle, chef and tour manager. Ideal for families with elders, small children or specific vidhi requirements.

Scientific Vastu Consultancy

Service page →
Is scientific Vastu different from traditional Vastu?

The core principles are the same — directions, elements, energy flow. Scientific Vastu simply avoids superstition and never recommends breaking down walls, doors or toilets unless there is a genuine structural problem. Every remedy we suggest is explained through directional energy, sunlight, ventilation and colour psychology.

Will I have to break walls or shift the kitchen?

Almost never. The remedies we recommend most often involve paint colours, mirror placement, plants, furniture rearrangement and small pooja-room adjustments. Structural changes are suggested only in extreme cases and always with cost estimates upfront.

How much does a Vastu consultation cost?

A residential Vastu energy audit and remedial consultation is ₹2,500, and a commercial or corporate Vastu space audit is ₹5,100. The fee is fixed and shown before you book.

Do you charge separately for yantras, crystals or pyramids?

No. We do not sell any Vastu product and take zero commission from vendors. If a remedy requires an item, we tell you exactly what to buy and where — you purchase it yourself.

How long does the visit take?

A typical 2–3 BHK audit takes 1.5 to 3 hours on site, followed by a written report within 48 hours. Larger premises and offices take longer and are scheduled accordingly.

Can you audit a plot before we start construction?

Yes — this is the ideal time. We evaluate the plot shape, slope, road orientation and surroundings, then coordinate with your architect on entrance direction, room placement and pooja-room location so the design is Vastu-compliant from day one.

Do you offer online / video Vastu consultations?

For homes and offices we strongly recommend an on-site visit — compass readings and light conditions cannot be judged remotely. For clients in other cities, video consultations are available at reduced rates.

What if I follow the remedies and don't see any change?

Vastu results are usually experienced over 30–90 days as the energy of the space shifts. We stay in touch on WhatsApp for 30 days at no extra cost and refine the remedies based on your observations.

Interior Design / Renovation

Service page →
How much does 2 / 3 / 4 BHK interior cost?

Indicative all-inclusive turnkey prices: 2 BHK essential from ₹6.5 lakh, 3 BHK premium from ₹11 lakh, 4 BHK luxury from ₹22 lakh. Renovations of a single room or kitchen start at ₹4 lakh. Every quote is customised after a site visit and 3D design round.

How long does a full-home interior take?

60–90 days from BoQ sign-off to handover for a full-home project. Renovations of a single room or kitchen finish in 30–45 days. We share a milestone-based schedule at signing and stick to it.

Is the design fee separate?

The initial site visit and one 3D concept round are free. If you sign the execution contract, the design fee is included in the quote. If you don't proceed, a nominal design fee (₹15,000 for full home) applies for the second round and the finalised drawings.

What material grade do you use for modular?

710-grade BWP ply for shutters and 710/HDHMR for carcass in wet areas; MR-grade ply for dry areas; branded hinges (Hettich, Blum, Hafele); soft-close drawers as standard. Full brand and warranty details are printed on the BoQ.

Do I need to move out during renovation?

Kitchen or one-room renovations can happen with you in the house — we cordon off the zone and manage dust. Full-home interiors are best done with the house empty, or with the family shifted to a spare bedroom for 4–6 weeks.

Can you design as per Vastu?

Yes — this is default. Our empanelled Vastu consultants review every design at the concept stage, at no extra cost. Directional zoning, kitchen placement, pooja room and bedroom head-direction are all checked.

What is the payment schedule?

40% at design sign-off, 30% on material delivery to site, 20% before finishing works, and 10% at snag-list closure post-handover. All payments against invoice; UPI, RTGS and cheque accepted.

What is covered under the 10-year warranty?

Modular carpentry structural integrity, hinges, drawer channels and hardware are covered for 10 years. Finishes (laminates, membrane, paint) carry a 1-year warranty. Wear-and-tear items (bulbs, silicone) are excluded. Full written warranty is issued at handover.

Home Construction

Service page →
What is the current construction cost per sq ft?

For a family-standard specification, budget ₹1,650 per sq ft of built-up area. Premium finishes take it to ₹1,950 per sq ft, and luxury villas to ₹2,450+. These are all-inclusive of design, structure, civil, plumbing, electrical, tiling and paint. Interiors, modular kitchens and furniture are separate.

How long does it take to build a G+1 home?

A 1,500–2,000 sq ft G+1 home typically takes 12–14 months from ground-breaking to handover — around 2 months for design and approvals, and 10–12 months for construction. Monsoon and material-availability delays are absorbed within the timeline.

Are approvals from LDA / Nagar Nigam included?

Yes — our liaison team handles building-plan sanction, water and sewage NOC, electricity load application and the final completion certificate. Statutory fees are charged at actuals on production of receipts.

What is the payment schedule?

10% at design sign-off, 15% at foundation, 20% at plinth, 20% at first-floor slab, 15% at brickwork, 15% at finishing, and 5% at handover. Every stage payment is against completed and QC-passed work.

Can I supply my own material for major items?

Yes, common for steel and cement — you get manufacturer trade discounts, we adjust the BoQ accordingly. All material must meet the IS-code specification on the BoQ, and quality checks apply regardless of source.

Is Vastu considered in the design?

Yes — every plan is reviewed by our Vastu consultants at no extra cost before it goes for LDA sanction. Main-door direction, pooja room, kitchen zone, bedroom placement and staircase orientation are all Vastu-checked.

What warranty do I get?

18-month structural warranty on RCC, waterproofing and plumbing joints. 12 months on tiling, electrical and paint. Free service visits for genuine snags for the first year. Full written warranty issued at handover.

Can you construct on a plot outside your city?

Yes — we regularly build in Barabanki, Unnao, Sitapur, Raebareli and along the Sultanpur / Kanpur / Faizabad roads. Locations beyond 60 km may attract a small logistics premium; we quote it upfront.

Solar Energy Engineering

Service page →
How much does a 3kW rooftop solar system cost after subsidy?

A 3kW on-grid rooftop solar system typically costs around ₹1.8–2.1 lakh before subsidy. Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, eligible residential customers receive up to ₹78,000 as central subsidy, bringing your net cost to roughly ₹1.02–1.32 lakh. Final pricing depends on panel brand, inverter type and structure height.

Am I eligible for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy?

Any Indian resident who owns a house with a suitable roof, has a valid electricity connection and has not already claimed a rooftop solar subsidy is eligible. You must apply through the National Portal and empanel a registered vendor — which Mangal Hands handles end-to-end for you.

How much roof space do I need for a 3kW solar plant?

Roughly 250–300 sq. ft. of shadow-free roof for a 3kW system using standard mono-PERC panels. Higher-efficiency modules can reduce this by 15–20%. We confirm exact requirements during the free site survey.

Do solar panels work during India's monsoon and winter?

Yes. Panels generate electricity from daylight, not direct heat, so cloudy days still yield 20–40% output. Most Indian cities average 280+ sunny days annually, and net-metering banks your monsoon deficit against summer surplus so your annual bill remains near zero.

What is net metering and how does it work in Uttar Pradesh?

Net metering lets you export surplus solar electricity to the grid and offset it against units you consume at night. UPPCL installs a bi-directional meter; you are billed only for the net units drawn. Mangal Hands handles the UPPCL application, inspection and meter installation.

What is the payback period and lifetime of a rooftop solar system?

With subsidy, most homes recover their investment in 3–5 years. Panels carry a 25-year performance warranty (retaining 80%+ output at year 25) and inverters typically last 10–12 years. Effectively you get 20+ years of near-free electricity after payback.

On-grid vs off-grid vs hybrid — which should I choose?

On-grid is best for homes with reliable UPPCL supply — cheapest, subsidy-eligible, no batteries. Hybrid adds a battery for outage backup — ideal if your area has frequent cuts. Off-grid is fully battery-based, used for remote sites without grid access. Our engineers recommend the right fit after a load audit.

What maintenance does a solar system need?

Minimal. Panels need cleaning every 15–30 days (a garden hose is enough) and an annual professional inspection of wiring, inverter and earthing. Mangal Hands offers optional AMC packages starting under ₹3,000/year.

Can I take an EMI or loan for rooftop solar?

Yes. Under PM Surya Ghar, collateral-free loans up to ₹2 lakh at ~7% p.a. are available from empanelled banks for systems up to 3kW. Our team helps you compare offers and complete paperwork.

How long does installation take from booking to switch-on?

Typically 30–45 days end-to-end: 2 days survey and design, 15–20 days for subsidy and UPPCL approvals, 2–3 days installation, and 5–10 days for net-meter inspection. We keep you updated at every stage on WhatsApp.
